My HP Chromebook 11 G5 (non-EE) is still on 60.0.3112.80. It never got 60.0.3112.101 (released August 17). What's going on?

Interesting Daniel Eskildsen

I have that CB and mine has not updated (CB3-431)

Richard Kleeman Yeah that's a bit odd..Somedays i'm shifting with my CB3-431 between stable and Dev and Beta..and never do i have problems with the updates always the latest one..Now on the latest Dev for testing the progress and it's looking mighty fine..Perhaps you should do a clean install i always powerwash between the shifting of channels.

Richard Kleeman i've got stuck once by updating stable channel but then i shifted to beta for a short moment when it started update to beta i cut and went back to Stable and it updated to the latest one :) Perhaps you should try it.

Thanks. I haven't switched channels at all but my CB is in developer mode. Maybe that is significant. I have had delays before. Also it might be location. I'm in NYC.....

An issue I have noticed with the Samsung Chromebook Plus is that android apps are now in phone size or full screen. It does not let you have a mini size tablet anymore.

I'd been in the Beta Channel for about a year and a half (liked some of the apps/extensions there), but the Swanky update this week bricked my Chromebook. So after much gymnastics, and about six reboots, and 4 Powerwashes today, I'm back in the "Stable".

That said, this particular release (tonight),60.0.3112.112, was a bit of a drunkard's walk to get it running. Grrrrrrr.

Richard Kleeman sure it's because you're in developer mode..and proberly running Linux also on your chromebook..

Update broke android app scaling on Samsung Chromebook Plus. Android apps that could maximize to full screen before are in small phone sized windows since update. If you try to maximize, a message is displayed that the app needs to restart to resize and may not function properly. If you select OK to proceed. App closes and doesn't restart.

Also portrait displayed phone apps do not auto rotate when in tablet mode.

Hi,
My ACER C720P have no update and stay in Version 60.0.3112.80 (Build officiel) (64 bits). I try a powerwash but no result.
What's the problem ?
Greetings

Just had to powerwash my Acer C720 this evening for a technical issue, and apparently it must've jumpstarted something because it just updated to 112.

There is still no update for a

Acer Chromebook C910-3YYY - 15,6 inch
Full HD 1920 * 1080

although I did manual searches after reboots each time!

Does Google is willing to prevent new customers from buying chromebooks by rejecting security updates in time?

A powerwash is *no option* to solve this issue at all!

No update to any of my devices by now. To all: do a manually check for updates and than hit the "give feedback" link on that page to send in your actual data, screenshot and place your feedback in the form.

Thanks!

To save me asking repeatedly about stable channel for the R13, is there a schedule / plan for stable channel release with Android applications on R13?

My Chromebook (about which I posted previously, above) finally downloaded the update itself a short while ago. My guess is, the manual update process was malfunctioning. Hopefully, it works now.

Acer Chromebook 14 user here. Just got the update after a few weeks of update silence. Things are working fine as usual. I am wondering about the availability of the Google Play Store on the Stable Channel. We've been waiting for quite some time. I love my Chromebook. It's fast, has a very short boot time, no viruses, and it's perfect for many things. However, there are just some things that cannot be done without applications. The online 'apps' are shoddy and not worth my time. We all could've bought something that operates on Windows or Mac OS, but we didn't. Come on, Google. Stop screwing around and give the people what they want and need in this day and age: ACCESS TO APPLICATIONS. We know you have the capability, now accommodate your customers, please.

My Samsung Chromebook Plus app scaling is messed up now since this update. All is does now is phone size scaling and full screen. Also it restarts any app when swapping between these sizes. Please fix this.

@Marja have a look here: https://cros-omahaproxy.appspot.com/ and search for (ctrl+f): CB3-532. This IS your last and actual stable release. You don't have to worry about missing something.
