The bug we're using is https://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=381820 so please feel free to add any details you think may contribute there.Alex Mineerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16305571536943138977noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8982037438137564684.post-85469855366698835582014-07-08T20:16:41.408-07:002014-07-08T20:16:41.408-07:00Sorry on the false alarm on the mouse/window grab....Sorry on the false alarm on the mouse/window grab. I am using 32-bit of chrome as well and ...Hi Alex,

I am using 32-bit of chrome as well and my #enable-experimental-canvas-features flag is also disabled by default. I have two laptops, one running Windows 7 64-bit and one running Win 8.1 32-bit.

Just now, when I tried to reply to this post I have other similar problems as well. If the post window was opened separately and not as a tab, I could not move the window and as soon as I tried, my mouse was grabbed by chrome and I could not even move to my task-bar to do something else. I could not use alt-tab to switch to other windows either. The only solution seemed to hit the win key once and return and I had to close the post window and open it as a tab.

When tabs freeze; e.g., gmail, the new scroll-bars also do not work for as long as the tab is frozen. I guess that's expected now that you guys use an owner draw window and your own scrollbars. Hitting CTRL-W (close) and CTRL-Shift-T (reopen closed), seem to fix the tab for a while or sometimes also I get the tab unresponsive message (wait/kill).

The problem with the window move and mouse grab seems to be on all chrome windows including task manager as well. When I hit Shift-Esc to bring task manager up, and then press Ctrl-Space to bring the windows control box, I cannot use mouse or keyboard to select any of the control-box menu items. It seems the focus and grab is still on the task-manager listbox.

CPU usage that the windows task-manager reports is also very high (50%).

https://drive.google.com/file/d/0BycJCF6TfqJodVc3d1VXa2UySzQ

Regards,
-- AmalAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16198413544450268482noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8982037438137564684.post-8471094624302722912014-07-03T22:10:23.169-07:002014-07-03T22:10:23.169-07:00Alex, I am using 32-bit version and my #enable-exp...Alex, I am using 32-bit version and my #enable-experimental-canvas-features flag is disabled as well(by default) but still the browser gets unresponsive(freezes for 4-5 sec) whenever I try to switch tabs.

The problem also persists when I try to open a new tab..the browser just freezes for 4-5 sec. Also when I close a tab from its own window it freezes for 2-3 seconds but if I try to close other tabs(say tabs 2 and 3) when I am on (say) tab 1, there is no freezing, it closes them as usual.

Hope this helps in fixing the issue fast :)Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08199631379169586541noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8982037438137564684.post-37084194387500179352014-07-02T11:17:26.337-07:002014-07-02T11:17:26.337-07:00Amal, are you using 32-bit or 64-bit Chrome?Amal, are you using 32-bit or 64-bit Chrome?Alex Mineerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16305571536943138977noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8982037438137564684.post-70593826933541509082014-07-02T09:13:04.839-07:002014-07-02T09:13:04.839-07:00@JuL Already disabled in my chrome. It appears as though photographers have already begun to support their efforts and are advertising on their site. I am attaching a link to their site. I found the site through one of my friends who liked one of their photos on Instagram. I think it would be great if you were able to write a piece about them. This is a great demonstration of what kids these days are doing, and they should be recognized for their efforts.

If you have any questions about the tip, let me know.

Sincerely,
Max Adelman (adelmanmax7@gmail.com)Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16497980032594801039noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8982037438137564684.post-19796500086790036232014-06-30T19:02:12.147-07:002014-06-30T19:02:12.147-07:00This comment has been removed by the author.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13048269230051462153noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8982037438137564684.post-50862486987502462282014-06-27T18:46:42.684-07:002014-06-27T18:46:42.684-07:00Hi Alex,
