Please do not go the way of Apple with forced obsolescence. If ChromeOS is meant to be a light, easily accessible web-based operating system, then supporting a machine less than 2 years old should be able to support new versions of the OS.

For goodness sake, we can get Windows 8 installed on a Pentium 4 with basic functionality, Google can at least support the C710. And if that's going to be a problem, then at least give us some flexibility with the BIOS so that we can install a flavor of Linux and get something more out of the machine.

I love ChromeOS, but the lack of support for such fresh devices, and lack of reasons for doing so, is baffling and disappointing, and borderline false advertising :)Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03615603566927962818noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8982037438137564684.post-30011630573624060822013-11-27T11:06:53.331-08:002013-11-27T11:06:53.331-08:00As Acer C7 user I just feel I have made a mistake ...As Acer C7 user I just feel I have made a mistake

I can only say this situation drives me away from google

I will not buy any new chromebook

and since google does not care about me ....

I`ll just move to office 365

Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03582923595108703600noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8982037438137564684.post-32691477117613599812013-11-25T17:08:00.211-08:002013-11-25T17:08:00.211-08:00i second that , we acer 710's are among the fi...i second that , we acer 710's are among the first to try the chromebook. maybe not the first but, u know what i meant. dont leave us hangin or in the back burner.Blogger63https://www.blogger.com/profile/05798814529283427612noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8982037438137564684.post-90097888372106905762013-11-25T17:05:43.465-08:002013-11-25T17:05:43.465-08:00This comment has been removed by the author.Blogger63https://www.blogger.com/profile/05798814529283427612noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8982037438137564684.post-72365855254023093032013-11-25T09:25:16.646-08:002013-11-25T09:25:16.646-08:00I like how this went from "all devices" ...I like how this went from "all devices" to "exception of the HP Chromebook Pavilion, Acer 710 and the HP Chromebook 11" cmoooooooon lets get some updates from my c7!!!!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13875904966650769140noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8982037438137564684.post-62306097123570743282013-11-24T20:35:32.563-08:002013-11-24T20:35:32.563-08:00I cannot access Google Drive on this version with ...I cannot access Google Drive on this version with Samsung Chromebook.
