Awesome changes and all guys, but is there any chance of including an option in the future allowing one to change font render styles in Windows? OS X gets awesome looking font rendering and Windows doesn't - but Safari has a setting to change to the Mac style font rendering. Any chance we could get the same on Chrome for Windows?

Finally wash out the final 9.0 version of Google Chrome, I was eager to make this happen by checking the news. Congratulations Google.

The flash player sandboxing was re-enabled in the last beta, so should we expect to see it in stable 9 soon?

Hello from Reddit! Nice to see this community uncovering an audio bug! Now I have motivation to keep playing games as hard as I can. ;-)

I know I should file a bug report, but I'm lazy.

Acid3 fails in the Mac OS X 9.0.597.84 version, almost exactly like it does in this bug report from April.
Except that the "You should not see this at all" text disappears right before the count reaches 100.

@Peter Ahlstrom, if "You should not see this at all" does disappear before the final 100, and the final image is correct, I don't think that's a bug, and neither is it bug 41706

I was so excited about 9.0 release but I think it is a real mess. Every page that I tried to open only resulted into a crash.

This 84-86 trick of preventing beta users from peacefully switching to stable is kind of cruel. ;-)

OK, it probably allowed me to switch to Stable even though my version is a little bit newer than the new Stable. ;-) Next update, I could get to the right one.

This is a huge step backward in usability for me! A few months ago I did a manual downgrade to get away from a javascript bug in the 9 beta I was running at the time.

Now you've promoted that beta to stable without even commenting on the bug report I filed! This is shameful!

Ever since the update I have had Google Chrome crash (just freeze) multiple times in a variety of different usage scenarios. I also appear to have lost my homepage settings and other default security options (I run Chrome on Widnows Vista with all the lastest service pack and security patch updates).

Mine doesn't want to update, it still says I'm at 8 and up to date. :\

The version is unusable! It DOESN'T display some web pages while other browsers (and recent version of Chrom) does.

Good example,

How to rollback to v.8 of Chrome?
