Chrome for Android Update

Chrome for Android has been updated to 33.0.1750.136 and will be available in Google Play over the next few days. This release contains a fix for users being prompted to sign in continuously. Beta Channel Update

The Chrome Team is happy to announce the promotion of Chrome 34 to the beta channel.  34.0.1847.11 for Windows and Mac and 34.0.1847.14 for Linux. This release contains many improvements including:
  • Responsive Images and Unprefixed Web Audio
  • Hands-free Google Voice Search in Chrome
  • Import supervised users onto new computers
  • A number of new apps/extension APIs 
  • Lots of under the hood changes for stability and performance

Chrome for Android Update

The Chrome team is excited to announce Chrome 33 for Android. Chrome 33.0.1750.132 will be available in Google Play over the next few days. This release contains stability and performance improvements as well as the following improvements:
  • Download progress notification for file downloads using the Chrome network stack
  • Updated help and feedback UI
  • Support for <datalist> tag

Stable Channel Update for Chrome OS

Update: Samsung Chromebook has been updated to 33.0.1750.124 (Platform version: 5116.88.2)

The Stable channel has been updated to 33.0.1750.124 (Platform version: 5116.88.0) for all Chrome OS devices except Samsung Chromebook. This build contains a number of bug fixes, security updates and feature enhancements. Systems will be receiving updates over the next several days.

Some highlights of these changes are:
  • Added policies for admins to set/allow avatar for public sessions.
  • Enabled the ability to playback content protected videos in HD in all ARM devices.
  • Enabled people search for contacts in the launcher. You can start a Hangouts chat or email them.
  • New first-run UI to provide a more lightweight, polished, and personalized experience.

Dev Channel Update for Chrome OS

The Dev channel has been updated to 34.0.1847.3 (Platform version: 5500.4.0) for all Chrome OS devices. This build contains a number of bug fixes, security updates and feature enhancements. Here is the chromium changelog.

Edited 4:38pm 2/21/2014: The Samsung Chromebook and HP Chromebook 11 have now been updated to version 34.0.1847.5 (platform version: 5500.9.0).
If you are using are using either the HP Chromebook 14, Toshiba Chromebook 13'3, Acer C720, or Dell Chromebook 11, upon returning from suspended mode after being idle for 20 minutes you may loose audio.  To fix this, suspend your Chromebook manually and upon restore the issue should go away, if it does not restart your Chromebook.  This is a known issue and is currently tracked as issue 345500.

As usual, our ongoing internal security work responsible for a wide range of fixes:
  • [344876] Low-High CVE-2013-6661: Various fixes from internal audits, fuzzing and other initiatives. Of these, seven are fixes for issues that could have allowed for sandbox escapes from compromised renderers.
Many of the above bugs were detected using AddressSanitizer.

Admin Console Update

The Admin console has been updated. Enrolled devices are now listed as "Provisioned". Admins now have the option to deprovision a device to hide the serial number from the default view, remove device policies, and prevent the device from enrolling back to the same domain.
