The "log of all revisions" link never works for me. Do I have to be logged in, or something?

First signs of the aero peek on this version... but is a bit poor for now. You change the order of the tabs the preview order on superbar does not change and if you open a link with ctrl+click the preview is blank until the page is visited.

With this new release, each tab in the browser causes a new toolbar icon in Windows 7.

@Troy: "With this new release, each tab in the browser causes a new toolbar icon in Windows 7."

- How to get rid of this "mini-tab" feature thing in Windows 7? Any idea?

@Troy I have the exact same and I'm not sure if I like it or not as I quite like clicking once to bring up chrome if I'm in a different program but having multiple windows is quite helpful.

@Kibby, Seyed, Troy:

that feature is called aero peek. IE8, firefox and opera has it. you can follow discussion about making just default or a configurable option here:

.livejournal.com crashes the page. I've read somewhere that it might be caused by NOD32, but it's all the same even after I've added chrome to exceptions

I also have the shade, but the worst is you cannot drag links anymore. If you try it, all the other links in page become plain text. Very weird.

This version has frozen a couple of times for me on Windows 7 x64. The tab/window becomes unresponsive, preventing me from scrolling or clicking links etc. Closing the frozen tab/window and opening a new one works fine.

@Ratko: IIUC, devs are aware of the crashes/hangs and discussing a possible 're-spin'. See the issues linked in 'Known Issues' and http://www.chromium.org/getting-involved/dev-channel if you want quick relief.

@konart: It seems that any page with ShareThis, including LJ, is prone to crashing: http://crbug.com/38564

@Tornadoes28: Can you check whether the crashes are correlated to http://crbug.com/38564 or any other common factor?

This release is a disaster. Windows frequently hang and I've gotten the "Aw Snap" page at least 25 times today on different sites (repeatable). It even hang the first time I entered this message -- trying again...

Ratko, you didn't realize that the dev channel stands for DEVELOPMENT. You should never have installed the dev channel if you weren't prepared for periodic instability.

I ALMOST requested a feature that was added with this last update. When a tab is pinned, before it would lose its ability to flash, I stopped pinning gmail because i was getting gtalk im's and not knowing until that tab was back in focus. Now with the tab pinned, reception of a new gtalk IM, causes the favicon to "flash" I though it was too minor a request to submit. Looks like I was wrong. Little things like this are why I love chrome.

Also, wanted to throw my 2 cents on the Window 7 aero peek implementation. While buggy right now (which is understandable, thats why you have us!), I'm glad your moving in this direction, most windows 7 programs take advantage of this. So, thanks!
Lastly it surprises me that so many people DEMAND instant fixes when a buggy release is issued. You HAVE to understand this WILL happen at this level, it's just part of the process, and to be honest, im surprised it hasn't happened more often. So those that don't understand that there may be days where your dev browser does'nt work correctly really should move to the stable version.

Vrey bed idea combine Windows and Tabs on taskbar preview — WERY BED IDEA :(

If before I opened the browser with just one click, but now instead I am shown a list of tabs, I need to choose one of them - and why should I see an endless list of names, which can not navigate!

I can not find the window tabs - they are all in one huge list.

That window is now open comments on the blog. And I immediately lost it in an endless list of open tabs. 'll Have to look for him just by clicking randomly on the list on the taskbar: (

Why do it? I need to open the window, and in it I know where everything is. Remove it!

Remove!
