Bookmark icons also look incorrectly on Win7.
Try to add to bookmarks these URIs: https://elba.kontur.ru and https://mail.yandex.ru. Then suitably compare bookmark icons with favicons and be surprised :)

This update appears to have broken source maps. I can't get the original file names for a bunch of compiled scss files now.

It worked on the weekend, still works in Firefox.

All applications created with Sencha EXTJS are having problems with the Menu component on mouse hover event, hiding the component preventing the user click on a menu item.

Can no longer access content on page that contains #'s in the url. This was also noticed in version 43.0.2357.65. Clicking any of the tabs on this page http://www.diamondatlowes.com/products does not trigger the content to be shown.

@Unknown Google normally lags the Beta channel promotion behind Stable, Dev behind Beta, and Canary behind Dev. That being said, I suspect a show-stopper bug is delaying the promotion of Chrome 44 to Beta, and thus led to the (temporary) situation of Beta lagging Stable. I do not know what the problematic bug might be - Google won't let me see what it is.

This is one of the worst Chrome releases ever.

Previously fast loading pages either don't load at all or are slow loading.

Even Gmail is affected. Either it doesn't load or you get an "SSL connection error."

Great stuff, Chrome team! How about making the product more stable?

You can switch to Chrome Canary for those having problems with source maps or the chrome dev tools window being open causing everything to be slow. I was also have crazy slow loads with the dev tools window open. Almost switched to firefox because of this. :(

But Chrome Canary for the win!

At least three of the websites I use daily are no longer usable. The United Healthcare website won't open listboxes. The Anthem insurance website is not running a script that opens pdf files -- it downloads them as cgi files (IE and Firefox works fine). WV Medicaid website won't allow me to login unless I'm using an incognito window! I am desperate. IE and Firefox are soooo sloooow. But I guess I'll have to use them for these websites. I'm beyond frustrated.

Has Google Chrome simply become a meaningless version factory? Other than "security" enhancements, the latest Chrome versions offer zero in terms of user joy and delight. In fact, quite the opposite with its slow or never loading pages and broken videos.

Chrome used to be a "browser built for speed, simplicity and security."

With 43+, it's now a browser built for sloth, stupidity and insecurity.
