I simply feel safer knowing that Google is focusing on Chrome's security. This one fact has me using no other browser.

"Note: Access to bug details and links may be kept restricted until a majority of users are updated with a fix. We will also retain restrictions if the bug exists in a third party library that other projects similarly depend on, but haven’t yet fixed."

Is this why you don't always list new features and fixes on Chrome OS, too? If so, fair enough.

This version is really awful !!! many things with javascript stopt working on websites. Reinstalling chrome or deleting cache doesn't work. It's definitly this version that does not work. Chrome was fine on my laptop until it updateded to the same version.

It appears with this version - Google has removed the flags to allow export/import of stored passwords. Not everyone wants this information stored in the cloud. My opinion, bad choice on Google' part.

Since the last version installed, Chrome opens always a second tab without my request. Is this a problem with the so called experimental "Mojo" story?

Yeah, seconding the comments pointing out Javascript issues. Have been working on an React/Redux webapp that has so far had great performance on Chrome, now it crashes the tab. No changes besides updating Chrome, still works in FF.

Hi, as Developers we are facing some troubles with Devexpress Control that uses Javascript. ASPXFileUploadControl is the one who stops working after update.

Since I was updated to Chrome 61.0.3163.100, all my websites that provide scrolling to anchors are affected and not working normally. Ironically, it's working fine on Chrome ... iOS. And all other browsers, MS Edge, FireFox.

I'm using: jQuery.LocalScroll - Animated scrolling navigation, using anchors by http://flesler.blogspot.com

This was all working perfectly on Chrome previous versions - and an older one on another PC.

So any user updated to 61.0.3163.100 can no longer anchor scroll on my various website... aaaaaaah. Please provide a patch or update! Must be alot affected, as anchor scrolling via jQuery is kind of popular.

Thank you

Looking forward for some solution.

This sounds like a known ChromeDriver bug https://crbug.com/chromedriver/1852, which has been fixed in ChromeDriver version 2.32. Could you please trying the tests with that version of ChromeDriver? Please let us know if the problem persists with ChromeDriver 2.32. Thanks.

Hi,

This new version breaks all my drawers open in the context of position: sticky elements (https://trademark-gold.myshopify.com, scroll down a bit and click on "Cart" for instance).

As we're doing themes, it has therefore break all stores using our theme.. which is quite annoying. Thanks for the extra support I will receive until an update fixes this \o/.

This update definitely seems very problematic!

X64 Windows 7 version - for me it crashes silently every few minutes, even when just sitting there in the background doing nothing. Tried re-installing a few times, but doesn't help.

I am running Windows 10 Creator edition x64 with a 4k laptop screen.
Until this update everything with Chrome was fine. Since this update there are several tech related sites I visit where the page initially displays correctly then refreshes with fonts about 5 or 6 times larger, basically unreadable.
"http://www.extremetech.com/extreme/236694-the-large-hadron-collider-of-all-places-is-running-out-of-disk-space" is an example of one such site/page. Since it is only a few sites I suspect it's a change in CSS. Hopefully this will be fixed soon, until them I cannot read those sites :(

I can't use chrome any more because it won't stay open for more than 30 seconds. I have never had this happen before, but I am now using TOR. I have reinstalled the latest version several times without any improvement.
