@Hugo F

Typically, major Chrome/Chrome OS releases come around every ~6 weeks. Chrome OS 66 came out near the end of April, so I would anticipate mid-June.

(I don't work for Google...I just have a very unhealthy obsession with Chrome OS.)

@Derik (unhealthy obsession, hah! nice!)

@Jesse and @Hugo F - As the stable build is updated, it will be updated per supported platform as well (a few days or so - max approx a week). And Derik's advice was also helpful and accurate as well.

@Jessie Noble - I apologize for the misinformation - the Dell Chromebook 11 3120 is still in "Planned" status. A VERY important note on this - the Dell Chromebook 11 3120 was released in 2015. Make sure that model has not reached end-of-life. If it has reached end-of-life according to Dell, then it will most likely not receive access to the Play Store.

I'm still waiting on the android apps update for the acer cb3-131. bug fixes are good, but that's all I ever see listed, and they don't affect anything I can see. I want to see an update that I can actually use.

@Martin Webb didn't know about the Google Chrome Devices end of support web site.

I have one more year of Chrome OS updates and that will be the end for my Chromebook :(
