What is the version no? As of now I get following message - The update server is not available Error 7
so when is the linux update coming for any of the 3.x.x versions?I keep getting blog posts of cool updates but nary an apt-get update.
Error 7 for me too...
I'm another linux user, and I'd like to investigate the possibility of changing from Mozilla to Chrome; it seems as though you have some interesting ideas.--John Wagner
Cannot update on Windows 7, unfortunately...
Same here, error 7, can't update.I'm using XP SP3 32 bit (though I think in this case it's irrelevant).
New items in the Event Viewer appear: "Cannot find a description for ID 12 from Google Update", this should be an installer failure: it doesn't work even if you download it from Google's site.
The update worked well for me possibly because I never installed the original 184.108.40.206 update.
@Dave: this issue concerns the stable branch (2.0.172.xx).
That's all fine now!
I got the Error 7 before as well, but it now upgrades for me as well at 16:30 PDT.The new version is 220.127.116.11
Finally able to update to 18.104.22.168
This is great, but when is the print options issue going to be addressed? I don't want to belittle Google Chrome b/c it really is a million times better than I.E. and Firefox, but the lack of printing options is killing me!
