Still a problem with Google Reader. When you are in Google Reader and click "settings", nothing happens. I have to use Firefox to edit my RSS feeds.

One gripe that I have with Google Chrome is a simple feature that should have been in it from the beginning is the full ability for chrome to save the exact location of each individual page you left open. Firefox has had it since they invented the ability to re-open used tabs, why doesn't Chrome?

is it just me, or that .crx extensions don't properly associate with chrome anymore?

@Tech Reviewer: Do you mean Tools->Options->Basics->On Startup "Restore the pages that were open last"?

2:42 PM, October 07, 2009
Blogger Tech Reviewer said...

yeah, I do mean that, but the problem is that it isn't precise like Firefox. FF can remember the exact spot I left on in a tab of mine and I like that but not enough to stay with FF . if Chrome's restore the pages that were open last were on the same lvl as FF, I would be completely happy with it.

What should be the main goal for the Chrome grow?
- Do people know its features.

Many people are fleeing from this browser because they don't find that things WHERE they are ACCUSTOMED to find. =P

On the Mac build audio is not working for sites like among others like it. Other than that it's been working great.

Suggestion: for those of us with macbooks, would it be possible to have three finger scrolling up and down navigate through tabs? It would be really convenient.

Mehdi: Try searching Google for: chrome extensions

Here are two that I use:

For the second site, go to the Chrome Plugins section of the forum for extensions. That site has no collection that can be browsed, so you just have to wade around in the forums for links. The first site is set up as a gallery with categories.

Is there a loose time frame for linux (mac?) beta?

As a web developer, I'm often watching my Firefox eat half my memory, and half my cpu with 20-30 tabs.

I'm highly interested in stepping up to chrome if it can meet half of my expectations, after reading the comic. :D

I may get up the gumption to download the dev version and chip in my 2 cents this weekend.

Just a thought- full screen mode looks awesome but it's impossible to navigate. If you could add a small translucent address bar maybe in the bottom right hand corner, that would be really cool
