Under Windows Vista it crashes when you try to sync bookmarks, like the previous stable version did (yes, I reported the bug).

Please don't simply post the irrelevant information on this blog...here is manned for providing any recommendation that can help to improve the Google Chrome browser and not apply it for selling and asking the users to download and run some extension application. Please take note.

Still there is a strange build number 4.0.249.89 unknown (38071). Unknown should be replaced with stable or something like that...

Chrome automatically updated to 4.0.249.89 here. However, my company's configuration manager Asset Tracking Edition complains about the previous version still being installed. Can the updater remove the older version, in case of a security related update? Or at least provide a configuration option for that?

Chrome stopped working with this update and I am getting the following error:

Error 331 (net::ERR_NETWORK_IO_SUSPENDED): Unknown error.

Firefox and IE both work, but Chrome 4.0.249.89 (38071) is not working. I hope someone can help us figure it out.

Don't know what happened, but when I shut down Chrome and restarted it, it works just fine. Glad it's working now.

Since 4.0.249.89 was loaded on my system, the Bookmarks bar disappears whenever a web page loads. How can I use the bookmarks feature if the bar is gone? Going to a new tab brings it back . . . until I load a page in that tab; then it disappears again.

This version have a nasty bug as described in link below (also have example file to reproduce bug):

http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=35723

Would really appreciate if some chrome dev. could get this bug assigned ASAP.

I belive this is a WebKit bug since it also affects some versions of Safari for MAC

This new version fails the acid3 test. It passes to 100 but the rendering is wrong (the colored squares are not squares, but black horizontal lines)

What about Linux? The security-relvant bugs sound like they are not limited to Windows. Any updates?
