Dev Update: Chrome Frame

The Dev channel has been updated to 5.0.366.0 for ChromeFrame.

  • Better integration with Internet Explorer’s popup blocker.
  • Fixes issues regarding switching to chrome frame with meta tag.
  • Fixes a number of crashes.
  • Fixes issues with URL referrer parsing

More details about additional changes are available in the svn log of all revision.

Because I don't know where else to post this...

One thing I really really dislike about Chrome is that I don't know when it's been updated. When I start Chrome and it has been updated I think you MUST tell your audience. "Hey! Google Chrome has been updated. _See what's changed._"

Why the heck would we want to integrate with IE's popup blocker, or with IE at all???
The whole idea is to get rid of IE, with all of its bugs and bottlenecks. Good riddance!

I'm not sure I can expect too much about dev channel updates, especially since these are intended for developers, not end users. Beta updates, maybe (perhaps something simple, just a generic "you're updated page"), stable updates, definitely. Major releases should show something. I think Mozilla has a good solution - a tab opening with the update info.

I never receive any update from crome, and i also never feel that chrome is the fastest one because when ever i fail to browse with it i am successful with opera.
