The auto-updater will not work. I could not manually update by downloading the latest version because it said I didn't have permission. I have admin privileges and logged in as admin.

No new UI? Or even at least some minor UI improvements? I mean, Google has to hire more developers to make Google Chrome a better browser.

Fabio_Rulez said...

@CJM: all UI changes targeted for chrome 5 have been shipped to chrome 6. If you want to try them download chrome experiments from here (so you can keep the stable version)

unable to get to gmail with the this revision, which pretty much makes chrome useless.

I can't even view this page with chrome!!!

how about some testing before release to the "stable" channel??

how do I stop auto-updating and install a previous revision??

I don't know what's happened but since the release of v5.0.375.86 I can no longer use Chrome as my browser when debugging in Flex 3 because the Flex IDE (Eclipse) fails to connect when the Chrome browser launches the Flex application you are attempting to debug.

Thankfully Flex 3 still works OK in Firefox. I would be grateful if someone can show me how I can resolve the situation.
