I don't want to keep checking to see if a Stable update also applies to the Beta (though I know Chrome 6 will feature a visual signal of an update available).

@Mazzter... over the past month or more, there's been more frequent updating on the Stable channel. It seems they release a stable build and then bring the beta up to the same build.. Lately, they've been the same.
1) Can't quit the Chrome program but must instead routinely use Force Quit.
2) The use of print using Apple's Preview sometimes works, sometimes doesn't. (PS I make sure the page is fully downloaded before using Preview).
3) Auto-refresh of a page such as nytimes.com or ft.com doesn't always work. Happens whether or not the computer is in sleep mode.
4) Chrome seems to have problems finding popular sites from time to time -- such as nytimes.com but especially blogs. Am using OpenDNS and have also used Google DNS to no avail. Wonder if the problem is Chrome, my DSL connection or the DNS servers.
I'm not sure if this is a bug in Chrome or Windows, but for some reason Chrome seems to automatically add US English keyboard into my keyboard layouts (Windows 7) almost every time I switch between Finnish and Japanese layouts by using alt + shift.
I only have Finnish and Japanese installed and have no need for English layout, so it's kinda frustrating to get rid of it every time it happens. This bug only happens with Chrome and it's even more strange that the US English layout won't appear in the "Text services and input languages" menu in Windows. However, I can see it in Language bar, so the only way to remove it is to add it manually into the input languages menu and then remove it.
I didn't have this problem with older 5.0.375. releases, so maybe something got broken in more recent builds?

Update does not seem to be propagating to those using Leopard. At least, not on my end and some other's, anecdotally.

I would also like to comment that the update was not working under Snow Leopard. I had to manually download the image and re-install.

@Timmy be patient, they have to get a build they feel is stable enough on the Dev channel first.
If you want builds more often that's what the Dev channel is for. Or even the new "Canary" channel.

A few issues:

Chrome 5.0.375.125 now fails acid3 test with score 98/100. However, it seems to be fixed in dev channel.
Hmm, I use Chrome 5.0.375.125 on a PC (Win XP Home), and the Acid3 test returned a score of 100/100...
