Will there be any way to bring back normal favicons into address bar? It always shows a globe now instead of normal site icon (and for some reason hides http:// only, which is weird and confusing and it messes up trying to copy the address)

Yes, I would also like the favicons back. As a person who also used Chrome for website development and testing, these latest changes really suck and are illogical. We should have the ability to control the look and function in user tools or options, not have it forced on us.

where to begin? well, Chrome was working fine until it crashed for no reason and my laptop showed me the blue screen--so I had to reboot. Opened up all the same windows again when it came back and first thing I notice is the tools bar in Chrome isn't blue anymore, it's a gray/silver color. I had thought I somehow opened up the incognito window instead. Then I come here looking for answers. I really wish you guys would TELL US when you're planning on doing updates....Maybe put them in the "New Tab" window or do a pop-up saying something like "we're switching to version xxx on xxx--don't forget!" or something.

Oh yeah, and how the hell are we supposed to view/access our private youtube playlists? You guys totally bungled that up and now I can't click on "playlists" anymore to get to all of my playlists so I can access private. FAIL! You guys are lucky that IE is too slow and pisses me off and FF was giving me grief or I never would've used Chrome

Really what is wrong with people? This is a development release. You will see changes often and you should see changes often... that's how it should work.

If you don't want the browser to change so often run the stable version.

Just wanted to say that side tabs, as implemented now, are pretty pointless since they don't actually increase the horizontal space in the browser when moving the tabs from the top to the side.

Granted, I'm excited that perhaps one day a browser will be made with wide screens in mind (I look at how much white space the address bar takes up on my 26 inch monitor and cry almost daily), and if side tabs is a step in someone on your dev team even remotely thinking about how to develop a browser for wide screens, then I applaud it. Just, that it doesn't actually do anything as it stands now. :)

Second to Wes's coment; using Home and End keys to navigate works, but after pressing one of those, if I press another direction key, the window immediately jumps back to where it was before. I could be at the end of a page, hit Home, press the down arrow key to scroll a little bit down from the top, but it will jump back down to the bottom.
This needs to change.
