What happened to smooth scrolling?

And Google isn't working in Chrome, it works in every other browser I tried.

Judging by personal experience and others' comments, this is sure one solid build. Google better move it up to Beta asap. Apparently consumers are demanding major version updates to their browser.

* Correction *
In my previous comment I said "Google isn't working" It should read "Google Instant isn't working".

It's actually a relief seeing the smooth scrolling gone (I've never gotten why they call it 'smooth' when 'sluggish' would be the correct term). When you're ready with that code and reintroduce it (which I'm guessing you will, considering issue 575), would you kindly release it together with the option to disable it? All other browsers have the option to disable sluggish scrolling, even IE, and for good reasons. Thank you.

I agree on a smooth scrolling toggle. Better yet, release an official extension for it.
