After the update restart from 10.0.634.0, chrome still remains the same version and keep notifying to restart again and again and again... without truly upgraded.actually this keeps happening with recent updates.
Am I the only one that prefers the classical popup version of the Preference dialog than the current tabbed version?

For Google Sync use just username and not the full email address it's an email@example.com doesn't workjust username workI am concerned about password sync. I would have to disable sync at many places coz somebody else could see my passwords as they are clear text.
With the tabbed version for browser configuration, the default language selection (formerly to be found along with the font settings in "Under The Hood") is gone away.

You need to click on the sync error that needs your attention at the bottom of the home page, input your password and this seems to allow sync to work
@everyone with Sync-problems:had same thing, but while trying to logon I disabled all flags and let it restart; now its working!
@JVApen - I just confirmed that removing flags worked.
My Chrome keeps crashing while trying to access gmail..
I had the same problem with sync when it landed in Chromium.Go to the sync settings in options, select "sync everything", then stop syncing, then set up sync again. it should work

I can confirm what @Chris said. Stopping and restarting sync solves the problem.
My Flash plugin was disabled after update.

Real Player downloading and recording does not work for this version. It worked fine in the previous version. After installing this, the "Download this Video" was gone. But i went to use Firefox, it seems fine, i can still see the download button. =/ Mind see what's the problem with this please? I'm not fond with Firefox and Google Chrome is like my best browser, and now it cant function one of my fav feature... I'm kinda sad now =/ since i really like this real player.

Here is a bug:I have some chrome bookmarks that I want to permanently. If I go to bookmark manager on my chrome and delete them selectively, they get deleted and it works. But if I now go to a brand new computer and chrome browser, and login and sync to my google account there, then those deleted bookmarks show up there. How can I permanently delete them ? Seems everytime I am just deleting the "local" copy of bookmark, not the "cloud" or "master" bookmark. How can I delete that "cloud" or "master" bookmark once and for all ?
Google Chrome sync is broken : when 2 people login in chrome at different timesGoogle Chrome sync is broken, here is major bug, which I am facing : Lets say Person A has a number of bookmarks, extensions etc synced in his account on one computer(compA). And Person B has a number of bookmarks, extensions etc synced in his account on another computer (compB). Lets say B wants to use compA. So A has to logoff his compA google account and for that he first does "stop syncing this computer" and then "Clear browsing data" and clear "Everything", so now one assumes that compA is completely clean and B can login. But when B logs in to his google account in CompA and does a Sync, then the compA has the bookmarks, extensions etc of A+B , ie approx double the number of bookmarks, extensions etc, not to mention that B is now able to see all the bookmarks, extensions etc of person A. This is a bug and the steps one needs to follow to clear out of a computer is not clear (are the steps "stop syncing this computer" and then "Clear browsing data" , and that is it ?)

In spite of what the update dialog says, the program has not been updated. However, chrominstaller.log reports the update errors: cannot copy the temporal new_chrome.exe to its final place.
Ever since I upgraded to DEV 642.2 I cannot load attachments in Gmail. Clicking on the attachment link the browser locks. I have to use IE which works fine then load Chrome to finish the message. I also cannot login on Sync. It has gone bad...

About month ago, CHROME stopped allowing me to reply to email, I use comcast's web client smartzone. So I called them and their solution was to not use CHROME. Can y'all look into this and release a fix? I have updated CHROME to the current version and still no luck...I like your browser very much and wish to continue using it. Thank you for hopefully reading this!

This version is horrible. When you guys release a version, seriously do a basic test if the browser can load gmail... no fix after a week, what are u guys thinking?
