resident's post is totally correct. The link he provided is correct; that is the download page for the early testing versions of Chrome browser.

And on that page, the Beta downloads links are wrong; the Beta links currently point to the same as the Stable downloads.

To get the correct Beta downloads:

Windows: http://www.google.com/chrome/eula.html?extra=betachannel&platform=win

Mac: http://www.google.com/chrome/intl/en/eula_beta.html?dl=mac

With OS X 10.7 approaching, I haven't seen any indication that Chrome plans to update to support both the new OS-wide multi-touch gestures and the new full screen mode. Any word on these?

Thanks!

I'm having a problem which I believe is WEBKIT involved, when loading GMail, I get a spinning ICON which it never fully loads, this happens with stable & beta & dev and now I hear it happens with Safari which also uses Webkit, can anyone confirm this BUG?

I've had so many problems with this version. Facebook lags, Flash crashes. The worst version I encountered.

@Steve1209 - Ditto for me with all WebKit based browsers, this issue seems to happen more readily whenever a number of tabs or windows are opened which make heavy use of JavaScript and Java's Virtual Machine. Disk Utility displays a significant number of JS and JVM errors when run to "Verify Disk Permissions," a permission repair temporarily solves it, only to have it reappear again soon afterwards.

@Steve1209 i can confirm this. it happens exactly as you say and it's been annoying me for a while now. besides that, good work dev team. even though i think a little more testing could do some good.
