@Jason - Chrome has been really slow for last few days.

Not sure if this is due to the stable update of May 24 or something else is wrong.. I am running Mac 10.6.7 and have been seeing this issue for last few days.. Searched on google and lot of ppl are facing same issue -

Have this been identified?

The update server is always unavailable , the sync takes forever to sign in and it couldn't sign in after 3 HOURS of waiting and the app store says "The app is currently unreachable" F#*K that

There is still a problem with this release & Gmail, I can not always scroll down to see the bottom of some GMail emails. If I go to basic GMail without HTML, the problem is fixed!

There are problems with this release and Facebook. Cannot access my Facebook message queue, just comes up blank when I do. Also cannot friend anyone. Just doesn't work.

Resorted to IE 9 for Facebook and everything works perfectly so this does appear to be a Chrome issue.

Spoiler alert for next update:
It contains a small number of UI updates and performance fixes and the full list of changes is available in the SVN revision log.

Remember the days when useful stuff was posted here and you only had to go to SVN if you really wanted the nitty gritty? Why does this blog exist anymore?

The rendering of 3D css is causing me a lot of trouble. Elements which should be visible simply vanish when applying a 3D transform to them, and page refreshes cause elements which should be hidden to be momentarily visible.

The performance is also several notches below Safari. I hope this improves drastically before release.

2 new bugs with the last 2 releases
1) when closing 1 instance of chrome, all instances close. This bug was only recently introduced. Before, each instance of the browser could be closed independently of the other
2) When opening a new browser it is not maximized. Chrome is forgetting the settings. Even if you maximize and close the browser via chrome toolbar->exit, Chrome quickly forgets your settings.

Please fix this up. It is most annoying!
