Beta Channel Update

As part of Chrome's 3rd birthday celebration, we're happy to announce what you've all been waiting for: a third Beta channel release for this week! The Chrome Beta channel has been updated to 14.0.835.126 for Windows, Mac, Linux, and Chrome Frame.  This release has disabled accelerated 2D canvas for Windows, along with other stability fixes.  Full details about what changes are in this build are available in the SVN revision log.  Interested in switching to the Beta channel?  Find out how.  If you find a new issue, please let us know by filing a bug.

Why disable canvas 2D? Some hardware accelerated sites are super laggy now.

haha...I knew you guys would do something! I could get used to this....talk about getting the updates to the user.

Beta channel is the best channel! Been using it as main browser for years without any crashes. Then Chromium for testing.

Happy Bday Chrome and congrats on Chrome's success Google! =)

P.S. keep it up b/c Firefox is hauling butt and version 9 is gonna try to whoop some fanny!! LOL, deuces!

This version just freezes up and gives me the "Oh Snap!" error in webpages with Flash. Practically unusable.

I went through the steps to install the beta channel version, all seemed to go normally, but my version says 13.0.782.220. This blog says it should be 14.0.835.126. ???
