Beta Channel Update

The Beta channel has been updated to 18.0.1025.133 for Windows and Chrome Frame.

This release brings back Swiftshader and gamepad. Full details about what changes are in this build are available in the SVN revision log.  Interested in switching to the Beta channel?  Find out how.  If you find a new issue, please let us know by filing a bug.

@ Zsolt Tamás Gfellner

I think what the other people who posted before are suggesting is as follows:

One might expect to have 7-10 updates in two weeks on the Dev Channel. However we have had that many updates to the Beta Channel in the past two weeks.

It would seem they are suggesting Google Chrome Team stop treating the Beta Channel as if it were the Dev Channel.

(That said, I AM glad they re-enabled the two temporarily disabled features with this build.)

Modern PCs are more durable and stable than ever before, but as software stability and utility have increased, so too have the number and types of errors, infections, and general difficulties users encounter daily.
