Please, Please, give a simple option to permanently stop the "This page has insecure content." bar from popping up. I don't need nor want that much useless, annoying security taking up screen space every page navigation!!

Attempted using the flag, it works, but when chrome fukn crashes (which it does very often, even in the stable channel which I'm using), it just starts up again without the flag, then I have to close that session again, minimize all my windows and launch it through a desktop short-cut and re-open all my prior-to-crash tabs. NO, the start menu "Internet" short-cut opens it directly from the .exe, which doesn't have any flags.

Like IE and several other browsers, give an option under the options tab to stop this useless (to me) screen consuming security. I already have AVG's extension dealing with all these sites and never run into any issues.

@MrElectrifyer: if the "insecure content" infobar is popping up on every page navigation, then something is very wrong. Most likely, you have a very buggy extension installed. Can you list all your extensions?

Anyone found some information on "Built-in Asynchronous DNS" flag in about:flags? It seems it is effecting image download speed.

ChromeFan said...

@Kurt whats the effect? fast or slow? didnt notice anything yet.

@ChromeFan neither did I but a search on Google didn't return much information on ADNS. From the small information I gathered it seems that Google Chrome stores integrates with Windows networking infrastructure to register new DNS resolutions asynchronously.

I totally agree with this.. it's just annoying.

Nice, I see a new and better icon when a page has no favicon, like!

But I'm the only one with this issue? http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=114831 This is really going on my nerves.

@ChromeFan I've found a website explaining that Google Chrome prefetches DNS. ADNS allows for faster DNS prefetching in google chrome. Source: http://www.dotnetperls.com/dns-google-chrome

@ Chris: I tried disabling every add-on, that does seem to stop it from popping up :| It was popping up on sites like TechRepublic, ZDNet & Facebook (that's when I had the extensions enabled), other sites like Google don't cause the bar to show.

Hmm, the common thing about all sites it popped up on is that they all have facebook embedded. Disabled the following facebook extension and noticed that the issue was gone :), pheww:

Facebook: Message quick-delete buttons 1.0

Thanks for the suggestion on extensions Chris :D

The "Unread message icon" lab in Gmail no longer works. I believe I would have noticed this before now since I keep a pinned Gmail tab always open, so I suspect this update somehow broke the lab. Or, of course, it could just be my PC.

I like the Uber Page concept but dislike the UI. The left navigation column should have much larger text and better separation. There are too many sub-menus in settings.

Also, I hope this combination trend will reach the NTP. I suggest combining Most Visited and Apps. See Issue 119907 for a mock.

There's a problem with bookmarks bar. When pressing an icon, and then pressing another icon, the second icon changes its look to the first icon.

To add on to what Yoav has said about the navicons. If you go to sites like Reddit and link to an external site, the navicon for reddit (as an example) will change to the externals site navicon. It's really annoying because I use the Bookmark bar without text and just have the navicon. :(

Facebook with its 500+ million users has virtually become a world of its kind on internet. As in real world your looks are your identity, and so in the internet world your Facebook profile is your identity. Your facebook profile speaks a lot about you as a person, and so most definitely you would love to have it customized, particularly its looks.

Google Analytics Realtime reporting is really slow on Google Chrome for Mac. I noticed it for the first time about a week ago.
It seems to be a browser thing, because on Firefox the realtime functionality is snappy as always.
