NPAPI Flash is removed in this version. Pepper Flash remains. Hopefully Pepper Flash is alot better now than what it used to be. I used to always disable it.
Thanks again - what about desktop notifications in Gmail?
@saber +1And it's an old version! The share button with no twitter/facebook/g+ by default?
I still can't see any favicons.
I can see favicons.@REO: the desktop notification from gmail is working here. The new "actions" toolbar is crap, I want ma bookmark star always visible O_O
ok this is sort of weird. http://htmledit.squarefree.com/i use to test html code with image embeds. context menu does not appear on images in the lower frame.
Restart Chrome in windows 8 mode and restart Chrome in Windows 8 start mode don't work...
Damn... no NPAPI...PPAPI is still too blurry for me and makes my eyes sore after a while...https://dl.dropbox.com/u/40132182/qualitytest.bmp (probs not best example and for some reason seems a little clearer in the screenshot).I can't just use the NPSWF32 since I need it for firefox and using for both makes it lag. I can try copy the NPSWF32 and use from another location but I think I'm better off going to beta instead but I'm afraid beta will use pepper soon as well =(
@Kurtextrem I really like the new "actions" toolbar. When you are on a page that is bookmarked, it still shows the yellow star. How often do you bookmark that one extra click is really a big deal? I'd prefer to get some of the clutter out of there for the 99.99% of the time I'm browsing. For the 0.01% I'm bookmarking I can gut my way through 2 whole clicks. :)
This release is pegging my CPU -- looks to be the core 'Browser' task and not an extension or any particular site.
Win7/64Bit. Completely installed and removed stable/beta/devel and preferences. Disabled plug-ins. Still blank pages on Instagram, Google Timemachine and 40% of the websites. Do a search to verify a whole lot of people are having the same problem. Some work needs to be done since 18.
SERIOUS font rendering issues on the Linux version. Virtually unreadable in places and it seems to affect all typefaces and styles.
