To "Unknown" who keeps commenting about no thumbnails and empty responses: I for one don't experience either of the these 2 issues. You might have an issue outside of Chrome such as anti-virus software, proxy servers, and/or ISP. If you have determined that it is a Chrome issue, have you filed a bug?

Yes, I did.

I don't use proxy serves. It's not an ISP probelm as I can reach those sites with IE9.

I don't know if it was due to Microsoft updates or just the shutdown and restart, but the problem with err 324 has been solved.
I don't have yet thumbnails in new page.

Error 324 (net::ERR_EMPTY_RESPONSE): The server closed the connection without sending any data.

you can browse this site if you want to know more about it..

i went to google shortcut changed target properties to "C:\Program Files (x86)\Google\Chrome\Application\chrome.exe" --use-system-ssl

adding --use system-ssl the the end and it worked ..

on an xp computer "C:\Program Files\Google\Chrome\Application\chrome.exe" --flag-switches-begin --disable-ssl-false-start --flag-switches-end

just adding --flag-switches-begin --disable-ssl-false-start --flag-switches-end
