Please bring back old style menus !New style hurts my eyes because too bright and not contrasted. Moreover, huge spacing between items is plain nonsense for mouse selection !Remember that people still use computers with mouse...This is a big regression for me, i won't use chrome anymore :(
The new menus are going to be badly received by a vast percentage of desktop / mouse users I suspect, including me. Chrome's straightforward UI is a major 'selling point' - you should really have allowed an option in Settings for switching it back to the normal menus to keep everyone happy. Many mobile applications allow different layouts for phones / tablets etc and this should be no different. Not difficult guys - offer the option in the next Beta.
Still no Thumbnails (2 months now) on New Tab, and the new spacing is in Bookmarks as well
Chrome 26 and above have removed creating Chrome App desktop shortcuts.A. Current Behavior:------------------------------Do this-Open a New TabRight Click on Gmail (or any NTP App icon)No longer any option for "Create Desktop Shortcut"It can still be done from an open tab and the Tools Menu, but the resulting desktop icon is a low res icon.B. Expected Behavior:----------------------------------Open New TabRight click on Gmail or any NTP iconOne of the choices should be "Create Desktop Shortcut"This feature was working properly on Chrome v25 and below.===================================Please fix. This feature was central to the concept of Chrome as a Web App platform.
Please bring back the old style vertical spacing on the menu and bookmark. At least have it as a configurable option for those of us still using a mouse. The menu and bookmarks now take up too much screen space, and it is harder to find the correct line because you can no longer 'see' all lines at once without scanning down the menu. It is very unproductive.
