Dev Channel Update

The Dev Channel has been updated to 29.0.1541.0 for Windows, Mac and Chrome Frame; 29.0.1541.2 for Linux. This release fixes a number of crashes, as well as other bugs. A full list of changes is available in the SVN log. Interested in switching release channels? Find out how. If you find a new issue, please let us know by filing a bug.

As with the other posters, continually crashes on startup. Not a good build! ;)

I had the same problem. To fix I deleted:
%LocalAppData%\Google\chrome\user data.

All my data was synchronized, so I dint loose anything.

As of yet no crashes on Win8 x64.

No crashes yet on Win8 x64, but with enabled Enable Instant Extended API option, Chrome starts to freeze. Try to turn off this option.

When I open Chrome it reopens the last 2 tabs that I closed.

Also, the previous Chrome window I had open comes back, but a second Chrome window with just a blank NTP also opens.
