"The Stable channel has been updated to 27.0.1453.116"I'm running the stable channel on Linux, and the version is:google-chrome-stable-28.0.1500.45-205727
Still having the issue on my Acer C7 with it asking for a password once I close the lid without logging out. This is still occurring despite "require password to wake from sleep" not being selected within the settings.
Nice, now my Samsung Chromebook will be two versions behind. It's still on 26 and telling me my device is up-to-date.
I just updated to the latest Chrome OS stable build. I keep getting blank notifications. The bubble appears in the dock next to the clock and the notification area shows nothing. It looks like this --> http://imgur.com/1DiRsQ3
@Mace: The article says "for all *Chrome OS* devices".For Linux, see http://googlechromereleases.blogspot.de/2013/06/stable-channel-update_17.html
Same problem as above. I keep getting blank notifications.
Add me to the repeated blank notifications bandwagon. I'm on a Samsung Chromebook.
My Samsung Chromebook is still on 26.0, and has been for a long time now.
