Hi, I have a problem where when I try to download from mediafire, it wont download. Cpu is and memory or not high either and my computer is fast like 3.60ghz dual processor amd 64 bit.
How do I resize the thumbnails on the new tab page ?
The new 'new tab' page is a huge step backwards from the previous version. - The 'recently closed' and 'other devices' menus are gone.- The thumbnails have shrunk.- Apps are now accessed via a bookmark, instead of the more intuitive pages (which also aided organisation). All these terrible changes, and the only new 'features' are:- A Google search bar which simply duplicates the functionality of the omnibox (plus a gigantic, pointless Google logo)- The ability for other programs/extensions to hijack the 'new tab' page, leading to confused users who don't understand why their 'new tab' page just changed. The only good change seems to be the improved look of the bookmarks bar: it now matches the footer of the old 'new tab' page. *facepalm*Please Google, just roll back this stupid change before it gets rolled out to everyone and you get flooded with comments like these: http://blog.chromium.org/2012/12/faster-simpler-search-in-chrome.html
I learned my lesson from the last terrible update. I purposely came here to read what was in the update.I'm glad I did. I don't see any benefits. I like the tab system. I wish I could create double rows like I can do in Firefox with an addon.Unless there can be something done about the memory management issues I have I think I'll skip this update. Thanks uhlforgot. Your post was very helpful.
Great release. Security. Will we soon see SSL TLS 1.2 on Chrome OS and Linux? (Windows Chrome is TLS 1.2)Tested on Chrome Beta and DevExample:https://www.google.comhttps://en.wikipedia.org/On Windows these sites are TLS 1.2On ChromeOS these sites are TLS 1.1On Linux these sites are TLS 1.1
I've disabled all extensions, but to no avail: there is no widget anywhere except in chrome://history for me to browse tabs on other devices. It's not in any menu, nor on the New Tab page. chrome://history is the last place I expected to find it.
