Stable Channel Update for Chrome OS

The Stable channel has been updated to 32.0.1700.95 (Platform version: 4920.71.0) for all Chrome OS devices except Chromebook Pixel, which is expected in the upcoming days. This build contains a number of bug fixes, security updates and feature enhancements. Systems will be receiving updates over the next several days.

Some highlights of these changes are:
  • When pressing the overview mode button (F5), you will see an organized view of their windows.
  • Pro-tip: Also works with three finger gesture
  • Sync/Auth failures notifications on Chrome OS are now a part of the notifications system.
  • Get Help app has been updated to include a "Discover" section.
  • The new auto-click feature, which will generate a click after the mouse pointer is moved, is now available via Accessibility settings.
  • You can now use supervised users to help family members who may need some guidance browsing the web. Once you create a supervised user, you can visit chrome.com/manage to review the supervised user’s browsing activity and determine site restrictions.

Security fixes and rewards:

We highlight fixes contributed by external researchers or particularly interesting. Please see the Chromium security page for more information.
  • [$5000][321940] High CVE-2013-6643: Unprompted sync with an attacker’s Google account. Credit to Joao Lucas Melo Brasio.
If you find new issues, please let us know by visiting our forum or filing a bug. Interested in switching channels? Find out how. You can submit feedback using ‘Report an issue...’ in the Chrome menu (3 horizontal bars in the upper right corner of the browser).

Build 32 fixed a big issue, so thanks, but it created a new issue. In ChromeFrame, the right edge of the screen is not clickable. On a page set to 100% width, it looks like 15-20 pixels are dead space. I have a scroll bar that I can't drag and a span with an onclick listener. I can click on the left half of the span, but the right half is in the dead space and it does nothing.

Fieldrunners, an HTML5 game, plays choppily and no longer plays the music, only sound effects.

Flash runs crappily though the Task Manager suggests it takes up over 200% now. I'm assuming that means it's using both cores to give crappier playback than before.

You keep introducing bugs... and for what? I don't see that you've actually attempted to improve anything and that Google can't handle its own web browser on top of Linux without introducing stupid, ridiculous bugs while... what? What the hell are you guys doing, anyways? I just don't get how gestures might justify screwing up the reliability of an operating system that is already a huge letdown from the Nov 19, 2009 demonstration. You copped out and made it "normal" and added a useless desktop via Aura, which slowed EVERYTHING down on low end hardware when I could have _sworn_ you said Chrome OS was going to get _faster_ with each update.

Know what I think of Google and have for the more than 2 years I've owned this machine? You guys suck. Chrome + Linux should = piece of cake, not piece of shit.

I hate you Google. You suck.

Not to sound super butthurt like the guy above, but it's been 10 days since all other Chrome OS devices got Stable 32, and the Pixel is still on 31.

What's going on?
