Hard disk on laptop is making lots of noises now, as if its doing something. Anyone else found this in the last Dev update?

Yeah, same for me. Looks like Chrome is writing / reading without a reason.

I found my hard disk was making a lot more noise, but disabling SuperFetch (through services.msc) fixed it.

I'm not sure if it is Chrome related (I'm on the beta channel) or the Windows 8.1 upgrade on a laptop that has an SSD.

On the following build: 36.0.1964.2 dev-m

and the HDD seems to be making noise on my HP Envy too. The omnibox also seems to have gotten bigger, which is a plus.

If this is on the beta build too, I guess there is no reason to downgrade.
