Dev Channel Update

The Dev Channel has been updated to 35.0.1916.17 for Windows, Mac and Linux

This release fixes a large crash. A full list of changes is available in the SVN log. Interested in switching release channels? Find out how. If you find a new issue, please let us know by filing a bug.

Indeed, I'm glad its working now. However, all my open tabs from before the crash seem to have been obliterated. I tried replacing "Current Tabs" with "Last Tabs", but the file sadly got written over sometime while everything was broken. A very unfortunate loss.

Yes, their tabs saving system is quite bad, if it crashes multiple times before you are able to restore last sessions, your own choice is History - and even that isn't reliable. There are other extensions available that does auto recovery for you every 5 minutes or so, which although doesn't save the context of a tab (histories or unsaved input), at least it restores properly which current urls are loaded. I use FreshStart.

It will also save your tabs automatically so you don't have to worry if Chrome crashes.
