It looks like the font rendering has changed somehow. A thinner default font or a smaller font size maybe? I looked through the SVN log and didn't see anything obviously about a font size change but something is definitely different.

Is it me or the GMail layout is completely broken on this release?

Richard, yes something must have changed regarding font rendering (I'm not sure I think it's simply a matter of font size). Either way, there's an obvious difference between Canary (37.0.2043.0 canary) and Stable (35.0.1916.153 m) now that wasn't there just a couple of days ago. (I think the current Stable version looks much better.)

It's a third version in a row in which I cannot open/close tabs properly. The loading icon freezes and even after clicking x, the tab still hangs on the bar as some kind of artifact (not clickable or interactive in any way). Does anyone know if this kind of bug was reported?

Search results are trashed, gmail is broken. I am assuming that rendering is broken badly. Please fix it asap. I can do without PDFs, I can't do without search results!!
