I would appreciate if somebody from the developers could explain why the performance of this version is half of what I get for Chrome v34.0.1847.137, based on the test at http://ie.microsoft.com/testdrive/Performance/LiteBrite/

(HP 6600, 3 GB, Linux 32-bit, Ubuntu Precise compatible.)

Chromium 38 has several regressions and issues:

1. 1Password: https://discussions.agilebits.com/discussion/comment/152961
2. Google Chrome helper not responding on OSX 10.10 https://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=397642
3. exported PDFs have no links: https://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=420530

Hope those do get addressed soon.

I'm using a Chromebox which currently is stable 37. Is the Beta channel 38? Do you recommend updating? I'd like to try out the new bookmarks and it needs 38. Any tips appreciated.

Why does the "About Google Chrome" menu in Chrome for Windows say "38.0.2125.111", but Programs and Features says "66.19.16495"?

I use Win 7 always my Chrome was fast but this version 38.0.2125.111 is very slow! A lot of fade effects!

I have the latest version 38.0.2125.111 dev-m for Win7 x64

I have hotkeys assigned to open webpages, and now in addition to the page I want, Chrome also opens 3 other tabs with the following:

The server at --extensions-on-chrome-urls can't be found, because the DNS lookup failed
Error code: ERR_NAME_NOT_RESOLVED

The server at --test-type can't be found, because the DNS lookup failed. DNS is the network service that translates a website's name to its Internet address
ERR_NAME_NOT_RESOLVED

The server at --load-extension%3Dc can't be found, because the DNS lookup failed. DNS is the network service that translates a website's name to its Internet address.
ERR_NAME_NOT_RESOLVED

Yet, if I click on the Chrome Icon itself on the toolbar, it works fine??
