So where is the Chrome beta (64 bit) ?
I tried to update, but my chrome is still showing Version 39.0.2171.62 beta-m (64-bit).
I can't download it, Chrome doesn't find the update, manually neither...
Has the update been pushed out?Still on version 39.0.2171.62 beta-m (64-bit).
Since the update to Beta Channel to 40.0.2214.10, I've been experiencing regular crashes on the Flash player. Happens on common sites (NY Times, Bloomberg, Toronto Star) that are part of my regular routine. This is definitely a regression version 39.
I second what P_I said.there's an issue with running flash. After I load a flash video, navigation becomes slow, computer overheats, eventually chrome crahsesso those having trouble updating to this version, you're in luck!
Since this update I have 2 Chrome GMAIL webpages always open 24 hrs a day and 2nd tab seems to crash with the Jim he is dead at least a few times a day
My beta remains at 39.0.2171.62 beta-m (64-bit). Was this update pulled? Or just not yet for 64 bit?
John, my desktop updated to Version 40.0.2214.10 beta-m (64-bit) last week when I did an About Google Chrome. My laptop, also the beta channel, remains at Version 39.0.2171.62 beta-m and insists it is up to date. Given the daily Flash crashes/hangs that I'm experience with Version 40, I suspect the might have pulled the update. I'm also hoping they'll get it resolved soon. Today maybe?
Google, if there is a problem at least update to 39.0.2171.71 (stable channel) which includes the flash update. The whole beta channel is at a huge security risk.
All machines are still saying up to date on 39.0.2171.62 a week later!
12 days later I still have 39.0.2171.62 beta-m (64-bit)!
