With this update I can't do two things in my XT1032.Before this update I could listen to music and use Chrome Beta, but now I can't even use the keyboard because Chrome uses all the resources of my phone. There isn't any performance improvement there
Installed this update from the Apple App Store on my iPhone 4S running 8.1.2. Device now so unstable it crashes after anywhere between 2 and 20 seconds after lock screen is loaded (but not necessarily visible). May or may not be the Chrome update, as Candy Crush also pushed an update at the same time. Still investigating but a heads up none-the-less
+Ryan MIQ Wrong blog entry. This is for Chrome for Android, not iOS. iOS entry is a few posts back.
Looks like this update has made third party keyboards go screwy again when entering text in web forms. A long standing problem that I thought was gone for good. Not impressed.
Now the "fixed" position is no more relative to the device viewport but to the layout one. My zoom-controling function now do not work of this :(
Since updating to the 40.x version, Knox Security policies pop-ups have been occurring. I did have Knox disabled as well as the security policy updates section. I enabled both and still was experiencing what seems to be a rare issue. I have contacted both my carrier and my Note II manufacturer. I also sent a error report within the Chrome version 40.x app. What have I done since is roll back to version 37.x and so far no pop up. I will try version 38 and 39 as well. This issue is strictly with the Samsung Galaxy Note II SGH-T889
I do have a screen capture of the error message if needed. This only occurs when I try to update the SE or SP and when I launch this version of Chrome. No other app nor instance has been noted.
