Dev Channel Update

The dev channel has been updated to 42.0.2311.22 for Windows, Mac and Linux.

A list of changes is available in the log. Interested in switching release channels? Find out how. If you find a new issue, please let us know by filing a bug.

the annoying startup problems on 64 bit fedora 21 are fixed. now if someone could just make the Hangout extension survive across network disconnect/connects...

Chrome eats all memory (4GB RAM) and makes system slow.

I agree about the memory hog thing. I'm sure that as soon as I changed to the 64-bit version of chrome the efficiency of the browser went down and the memory usage went up.

I wonder if the 64 bit version expects you to have more memory at your disposal than if you were using the 32 bit version.

I don't notice the problems on my work pc but that has about 4 times the amount of memory than my home PC.

Hi,

Im at a school in England where we are using chromebooks..

Ive noticed recently that my Admin chromebook which is on the developers channel has HTTPS working perfectly while browsing google sites... however other chromebooks on the stable channel struggle to receieve my google app script which i made and on a google site as https and takes it as just http and gives a warnign in the top left sayign "this page includes other resources which are not secure"

IS there any recent updates in the dev channel that arnt present in the stable channel that might explain this? Thanks!
