I am working with a user who launches business applications through Citrix Xen App.

Browser: Chrome

Os: Windows 8

He had no issues until 04/28. Was a Chrome update pushed to him that is preventing Xen App from launching?

We reinstalled Xen App through Chrome - no success.

Issue does not seem related Citrix, and timing coincides with Chrome update.

Please advise - Thanks

Will

Does Xen App integrate with Chrome via NPAPI plugins or some other interface?

This release broke my Bluetooth Apple Magic Mouse. Wouldn't connect even after restarts.

Tried to navigate through settings with keyboard but couldn't select device to then hit 'Connect'.

In the end I was able to track down a USB mouse from elsewhere in my office to re-set-up the mouse.

I'm using Chrome 42.0.2311.135 m Desktop.

Gmail is not working very well: hangouts sometimes does not load and when it loads, when I click in any name on the friends list, it doesn't open the chat window.

This is the console message that appears when sometimes hangouts loads and I click on a name:

Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property 'appendChild' of null /_/scs/mail-static/_/js/k=gmail.main.pt_BR.Z7mH2o097J0.O/m=sy307,sy306,sy351,sy512,sy510,sy301,cc,s…:105

I'm not able to open e-mails anymore after the page completely loads. If I quickly click, before the pages completely loads, I can see 1 or 2 e-mails, but after loads, nothing works anymore (hangouts, e-mails, buttons, etc).

This is the console error:

Uncaught TypeError: callbackWindow._GC_OnFrameReady is not a functioninit @ frame2?v=1430183727&hl=pt-BR:28onload @ frame2?v=1430183727&hl=pt-BR:1

We are still seeing this page wants to install a service handler for gmail, calendar etc. This first started in 42.

Also, the various Google version update pages have not been been updating well at all lately. For example (https://omahaproxy.appspot.com/)

Cannot copy and paste URLs from the address bar
Mac OS X, Version 42.0.2311.135 (64-bit)

After you select and copy a URL from the address bar, this is what appears when you paste it into a new tab, or an application:

file://localhost/.DocumentRevisions-V100

If one pastes in a web app like a Gmail compose window, nothing is pasted at all.

I disabled all extensions.

What I EXPECTED to be pasted was the visible text in the address bar that had been selected:

https://www.google.com/?gws_rd=ssl

===

An additional finding: if I change the selection to NOT be "all", but instead leave off a something like the first character, then the copy and paste works:

ttps://www.google.com/?gws_rd=ssl

So there's something broken with the interpretation of a "copied URL", perhaps?

Anyone else seeing this behavior?

My YouTube video that usually runs smoothly on a 60fps video is now studdering. How can I fix that?

@Michael ...at last, someone else having a problem with copy and paste.

When I copy an unsecured URL from the address bar, and then paste ...what it pastes is a list of directory folders from my account and library folder. I use www.apple.com as my test URL.

I followed all the advice for fixing Chrome, including reinstalling etc. No change. I ran virus checks. Nothing. I reported the error and posted questions in Chrome and Apple forums. No responses.

Eventually I was forced to upgrade from Mountain Lion (which was running perfectly ok) to Yosemite (I missed the chance to upgrade to Mavericks). It hung. Huge problems. The resulting work sorting everything out has taken days and now I have a horribly slow Finder to add to the frustration.

And yet, STILL when I copy an URL from Chrome it converts it into a list of directory folders. I'm stumped. When I look at the console, I'm horrified by the HUGE amount of code, but I'm not a tech person.

I wish someone could tell me what to do to fix this.

L.S.

Where can I make a suggestion to the Chrome developers?

It's about the new bookmark manager (widget) look and feel. When bookmarking an URL I'm looking at a 1920 x 1080 screen, and I barely have a 100 x 100 pixel window to choose a different folder to store it in. This is so not proportional. Scalable would be better.

Thanx for listening!

Regards,

Gerard.

Yes, the lags started again on the Youtube. I don't know what are the developers doing with it all time that one time it is good and after a while it is lagging again.
