How come we no longer have the option to have apps pinned in our shelf to "Open Maximized"?

Consider adding that functionality back in with the next update.

Thank-you Google, finally the screen resolution problem haunting most Chromeboxes over
the past 5 months has been fixed! Hope it stays fixed, only time will tell. Once again
I can start recommending Chromebox with ver 44.

Anyone who is missing the start maximized option: does it help to maximize to full screen or maximized in a window and uncheck 'run in a window' in the task bar? Any task runs full screen or in a maximized window. Or do you mean something different?

Why did you remove the ability to designate apps on the shelf to open as pinned tabs?

I always open Gmail as a pinned tab. The ability to designate which apps open as pinned tabs is a useful option, and I hope you bring it back.
