Stable Channel Update for Chrome OS

The Stable channel has been updated to 44.0.2403.155 (Platform version: 7077.123.0) for all devices except Acer Chromebase, Acer Chromebook 13, and HP Chromebook 14 G3. This build contains a number of bug fixes, security and flash (18.0.0.233-r1) updates.

Systems will be receiving updates over the next several days. A partial list of these changes is available here

If you find new issues, please let us know by visiting our forum or filing a bug. Interested in switching channels? Find out how. You can submit feedback using ‘Report an issue...’ in the Chrome menu (3 horizontal bars in the upper right corner of the browser).

Diacritical/accented marks are now fixed. Thanks for solving that issue.

Just in case -- if anyone is still having issues with accented marks -- the latest build has fixed the issue on my C7.

Rather than pointing those who would like a list of significant changes to the commit log, a readable summary of changes here in the release blog post would be really nice, especially for those who don't have time to read the entire commit history. Hack Line Account
