Wessel, Chrome 46 is introducing some functionality around tab discarding when your system is under memory pressure - can you visit chrome://discards and let me know if there are any tabs listed under the "... discards this session" section? If so, do you have much memory free on your system?
Yeah, it shows some discarded tabs. It probably has to do with my upgrade to Windows 10. The system takes up a lot of RAM now :( Is there a way to disable the discarding of tabs? I would like to give that a try... Thanks!

2 updates for other operating systems, none for ChromeOS......
Which is Google's OS?
Since Chrome 46, tabs need to be reloaded after not using them for like a minute for me. Very annoying.

Wessel, here is the solution:
"To disable automatic tab discarding, please use the following command like option:
--force-fieldtrials=AutomaticTabDiscarding/Disabled
The flag is only to force the enabling of the behavior."
