Beta Channel Update

The Chrome team is excited to announce the promotion of Chrome 47 to the beta channel for Windows, Mac and Linux. Chrome 47.0.2526.16 contains our usual under-the-hood performance and stability tweaks, but there are also some cool new features to explore - please head to the Chromium blog to learn more!

A full list of changes in this build is available in the log.  Interested in switching release channels?  Find out how here. If you find a new issue, please let us know by filing a bug. The community help forum is also a great place to reach out for help or learn about common issues.

Information about beta packages is missing in http://dl.google.com/linux/chrome/rpm/stable/x86_64/repodata/primary.xml.gz file. Could someone fix it?

Removing the spellchecker sub-menu isn't funny. I used it maybe a hundred times a day when writing on a German and than on an English site. Should I now have to go the long way to the settings for a change? I don't need the other input method, I need only a quick change of the spell checking.

I think like Thomas Beling, I wrinting korean and french, was easy to change the language... but now it's slower than before (me too "I don't need the other input method, I need only a quick change of the spell checking.").

Thank you

It's only I who has noticed that the command line switch --disable-new-avatar-menu doesn't work anymore? Whether it's still possible to get rid of avatar switch icon or not, is unclear.
