The links show only an error page.

e.g .: https://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=558589

403. That’s an error.

Your client does not have permission to get URL /p/chromium/issues/detail?id=558589 from this server. That’s all we know.

No one wants the profile menu. Has anyone told you they liked it or found it improved usability once since you implemented it?

I've seen nothing but complaints every update that breaks our ability to turn the god damned thing off. No one needs it. No one wants it. Let us disable it.

Seriously. Please.

All the folder icons on my bookmarks bar turned black. Is this to be expected? I think it's possibly this bug:

We use a proxy server and now NTLM authentication no longer works with version 47.0.2526.73. We have not had any problems with previous versions of Chrome. I have seen reports from other people with similar problems with 47.0.2526.73:

http://www.edugeek.net/forums/internet-related-filtering-firewall/162868-smoothwall-ntlm-chrome-47-0-2526-73-a.html. Any advice anyone?

Chrome is a good browser but since version 0 first version that the browser has changed little today. The change came in the final 14 one subtle change in the icons and in the address bar that won a gray instead of blue, I am Google Chrome user since its early versions. I think that Chrome should not only have changes in your code or under the hood but should have visual changes because the visual browser is already well beaten while other browsers are always changing interface and adding new features. We hope a change in the layout of the fast chrome.

Really annoyed that we can't disable the Avatar Menu now. This is a serious UI design flaw since the button is so close to the Minimize Button I sometimes click the Avatar Menu instead.

Please at least give us the option to disable this with the previous flag that worked fine until Version 47. What harm does the flag do? Advanced users such as myself who do not want the menu can disable it.

I can't believe you all have not fixed the dang bug that affects a whole bunch of people, the bug that totally disables this browser's, address bar on windows 10, This bug https://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=462058 i been on the beta builds waiting for a fix and now you pushed the current beta i see to stable but this bug is not fixed, it still affects me and others just search over at the google help forums you will see a post i swere is a mile long. You all need to fix this bug please. At random times it just stops accepting input forcing me and a whole slew of others to hit the windows key and pop open the task bar, just to go back and type in chrome. i begin to think you all don't care about it. I may just go with firefox if it is not fixed. But i like chrome better so please fix it.

After the update, Chrome refuses to open anything, a webpage, about, settings. Everything prompts for Kill Page or Wait, which neither work. Chrome just sits and spins.

However, --no-sandbox works.

I cannot believe that the user menu is back.

This is not something I have ever needed, or wanted, and every time (there's been several more than too many) it gets enabled, I find a way to disable it. But all that has stopped working...

Really REALLY disappointed...hate to say it (and I know me as a stat doesn't make much of a difference in the grand scheme), but for my own sanity and trust of a company so many rely on, well get this is fixed asap, or I'll swear off Google in as many ways as I can!

NTLM appears to be broken in 47, users in our office that are auto upgraded to 47 can no longer authenticate. Checked at multiple reports from different companies reporting same issue. Squid and Bluecoat proxies confirmed. Migrating users to IE11 until a fix is rolled out.

i am here to beg that there be an option to turn off the profile menu as well. there is so little space where i can click to grab the chrome window and move it around... this profile menu (which i do not use because i am a single user on chrome) takes up part of the precious real estate and provides no functionality. i understand that you want to include it as a new feature, but please let those of us who don't want it turn it off. you removed the flag and now the command line doesn't work either. PLEASE please address this issue. there are literally hundreds of internet comments begging for it. listen to your users.

Also want to request a return to the ability to get rid of the profile menu. As others have mentioned, it's too easy to hit when you just want to minimize the window. Single users don't need or want it!

I guess the NTLM issue others have mentioned is why the Bill Pay section of Wells Fargo online banking doesn't work - keeps asking for UN/PW over and over even after I've logged into the site itself. Upper level tech support says this has been broken on Chrome since v. 46 - known issue to them that they hope to fix on their end.

Please provide a way to turn off the profile button, or move it somewhere else (next to Omni bar perhaps?) it is useless for single users and it takes valuable space from tab bar. I appreciate Chrome teams' privacy concerns but a better thought-out UX could really help here. Thanks.

We get the popup un/pw box and just x'ing it out let's it proceed as usual. That's messed up.

About this NTLM issue:

I have to agree, Google and the Chromium devs have been utterly negligent with their testing and the flaming is indeed deserved.

As a developer I refuse to use any other browser for day to day development, however this latest massive blunder does nothing to reinforce our assertions to the general user base of our company it's a stable browser and worth using in a corporate environment.

I noticed comments on the chromium dev channel saying there weren't enough tests for this feature and it was "difficult to test". Well you better change your opinion on this critical enterprise feature now otherwise you'll just lose users.
Shame on you guys, basic newbie testing practices completely ignored.

What's the story with CVE-2015-8479? Both MITRE (http://cve.mitre.org/cgi-bin/cvename.cgi?name=CVE-2015-8479) and NVD (https://web.nvd.nist.gov/view/vuln/detail?vulnId=CVE-2015-8479) claim this issue is fixed in 47.0.2526.73. Both sources say http://googlechromereleases.blogspot.com/2015/12/stable-channel-update.html confirm this issue, however it does not.
