Video services such as Xfinity TV and mlb.tv are stuttering/skipping a lot after update.
Hi, I updated my chromebook yesterday, and I dont see a "build date" in system informations. Does anyone have a similar problem?
I don't see a build date either? I don't use Xfinity TV streaming but I do experience stutter and pixel issues with Pepper Flash and even Html5 streams at times. Shouldn't be happening with my 30mbps down broadband.I should have lot's of bandwidth for any HD stream. I can stream HTML5 all day long with Safari on my Mac without issues. Its frustrating dealing with Chrome devices because I cannot easily run hardware checks, or install another browser to see if things improve.
Google Now no longer works, I can no longer launch Chrome in Windows 8 (Metro) mode but I really like the Metro mode because of the ability to split the screen between Chrome and the desktop when working on my projects.

When will chrome make it easier to unzip files on the Chromebook?
Cannot access Chase.com without googling it, then choosing a link from there. When Chase.com input to url, entire screen will not load, just certain elements. Tried this on two Acer Chromebooks 710 and 720. Anyone else?
When is the release 49.0.2623.95 including Flash 18.104.22.168 available for download? Currently under "http://www.google.ch/intl/de/chrome/business/browser/admin/" is still the older version 49.0.2623.87 offered as download.

yeah for some reason there is no more metro mode ( windows 8 mode) for me and other people. I really hope they put this back into google chrome because i liked it like that.
Battery life seems to have taken a hit since this update. Might just be me but it seems my Chromebook went from averaging 10 to 11 hours, down to 6 hours max. That is not a work day...
Hi there!It seems some of latest updates has done something wrong with canvas 2D rendering on some platforms. Suddenly it significantly decreased rendering capabilities and sometimes it stuck all. We use createjs libs and large game engine, with lot of spritesheets and bitmaps. Everything worked well until latest update. We've discovered this problem happening on some Windows browsers (version 49.0.2623.87) and also on some mobile devices - for example Samsung Galaxy s5 with 49.0.2623.91 running on Android 5.0. On other platforms, or even different browsers on same devices our engine works well, up to 60fps, with no problems. But in these not working versions it doesn't go over 10fps and after some mouse interaction or more animations happening it won't render, just stay stucked.. There are several tasks done with bitmaps, such as alpha/rgb composing, composite operations, resizes, etc. but until now it worked well and in other browsers/versions/platforms it also works well. Do you know what should be the problem? Do anyone have similar problems? Thanks a lot! :)
I almost forget to write the most important.. If I turn 2D canvas hardware acceleration off (on devices with rendering problems), everything works fine and well as usuall.
