I think the new window switcher is crap. Any way to disable it? A flag perhaps?

This stable release and the one prior have been crashy for me on the ASUS Chromebook Flip. The scenario is this: Start Chrome and the Words with Friends Android app. Alt-Tab between the two windows a few times. (Sometimes once will do it.) The screen will go black for some seconds and then Chrome will come back having crashed. The Android app will have also crashed and not be running.

I have also encountered the same crash issue. When switching between android apps, the system will crash and restart again. Reported from Acer Chromebook R11 user.
