The installation works fine, but I can't uninstall the new Version 99.-> There is a Problem with this Windows Installer package...

Older Versions work. I also tried the installation on a clean Windows.-> Same Error

This must be a bug in the msi-package

Please check and verify. THX

OS=Win7x64

For Google developers.

Please put back the "Simplify Page" option in Google Chrome/Chromium. No current extension hasn't exactly the functions of the "Simplify Page" option.
What is so hard to put you, Google developers, the option back?
You too arbitrary and foolishly decisions in recent years.

I don't want to use extensions for the following reasons:
1. viruses;
2. the duration of the limited life of any non-Google extensions from Web Store;
3. extensions are not always updated according to the version of Google Chrome and they become incompatible with it.

I used the "Simplify Page" option for two clear reasons:
- remove banner adverts from save PDF/print;
- many site has programming language HTML / CSS / etc. old who can’t save as a PDF file or can’t print (blank page appears in PDF or to print) if it was not turned on "Simplify Page" option.

Please to bring the "Simplify Page" option back in Google Chrome/Chromium.

Thank you for understanding.

Hello,

After update to "54.0.2840.99 m" I joined to croud of people affected by orphan bug
"Flash v23 - 'Could not load plugin'"
https://bugs.chromium.org/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=651945

Are there any updates on fixing 651945 in M54 or about moving M55 to Stable Channel?

I have stable failures in updating intergated Flash Plugin via chrome://components/ in Win 7 Pro x64:
- directory C:\Users\ilya.neverov\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\User Data\PepperFlash\23.0.0.207 is created
- it remains empty
- final update status is "Component is not updated"
- current version of the plugin is 23.0.0.166

Thank you

What is it with you people? Can't you make a browser install properly? All you've got to do is click on 'OK' to install....

Sorry to seem insensitive, but honestly..! The Linux version is working perfectly.....and Pepper installs just fine via the new, internal updater. You've just got to be a wee bit patient.....it'll appear in its own good time; usually between the end of one session and the start of the next.

Just my tuppence-worth.

Install runs fine with x64; however, the uninstaller errors out leading with an event log error 1721. Tested on Windows 7, 8 and 10. x86 runs fine with install and uninstall across the board.

Installation of the x64 Chrome version works, but later uninstall fails with Error 1721 (might be a time consuming problem during the next deplyoment (update) if this release 54.0.2840.99 is deployed on many clients and cannot be uninstalled any more).

I figured out a way to uninstall the 64 bit Chrome with the 1721 error. I downloaded the 32bit MSI and installed it. It looks like it removes the 64 bit. You can then uninstall the 32bit version without issue.
