I don't see "Linux Applications" under settings Version 70.0.3538.34 (Official Build) beta (64-bit). Perhaps still for dev mode only.

I was hoping to see the Linux apps option on this build by now, maybe with certain Chromebooks although I have a Asus C302 so it should be able to handle Linux apps by now. Gimp would be nice lol

Anybody else notice that the ALT-V combo doesn't work anymore on the login screen to see the serial number and asset tag data? This started with 70, we have a number of devices on 69 that work but on our beta set, it doesn't work anymore.

The Asus C302 still has no Linux app options, maybe it's down to support from manufacturer although older less performance wise Asus Chromebooks have gotten the Linux apps. I wonder if it's my settings, I am in Beta though 70.0.3538.34

Regarding linux apps comes down to suppported boards yet. You can look them up here

https://chromium.googlesource.com/chromiumos/docs/+/master/containers_and_vms.md#Supported-Now

Board names

Checked for your asus c302 "cave" and it's not on the list. Worth mention below kernel 3.14 devices and baytrail chips will never get linux apps.

Has anyone noticed the chromebook selecting things by itself over and over so I lose control of the mouse after the update? This is a new issue I am encountering.

Apparantly the Asus C302 is on a 3.18 kernel and shares a baseboard with the Samsung Chromebook Pro so I hope just a matter of time for Linux apps.
