Stable update: Fix default browser on Vista

Google Chrome 1.0.154.53 has been released to the Stable channel. This is a minor bugfix release that addresses:
  • Issues 6504, 6732,  and 7568: Problems setting Google Chrome as the default browser on Windows Vista.
  • Issue 5806: Blank entries can appear in the address bar's list of suggestions.
  • Adding DigiNotar and SwissSign Gold as trusted certificate authorities for extended validation (EV) SSL certifciates.

In other browsers you can use the tab key to move down the list of suggestions (from the address bar) in order to select an entry. Why this is not the case for chrome. This functionality is very handy when you try to use less of the mouse for browsing. This is a real shortcoming. I hope this can be fixed.

I downloaded the standalone version just fine. Use the following link;
http://dl.google.com/chrome/install/154.53/chrome_installer.exe
For future versions just substitute the version number.

Hmm...maybe Chrome is faster on some benchmarks..BUT.. IExplorer 8 seems MORE FASTER on surfing the net.In Chrome I got often the message " waiting for proxyes and other different waitings.

It has an irritating characteristic of not remembering the download destination address; repunching it in takes lots of time for 50 downloads.
