Actually, Issue 36929 contains perf improvements.

I only wish Chrome truly had pref improvements that would give users preferences and options to fully customize the browser!

My Google Chrome is working less efficiently. The saved preferred sites take forever to load up, when they used to show up right away.

About the translation bar.
Is there a way to desactive this bar ? (I mean "alaways, for every site!")

Because since the translation bar is incorporated in Google Chrome, it appears on any website I visited (My Chrome is in french, but I read german and english website daily )

I know you can desactive it... but ONLY for a page ! Not for a intire website. so sad !

Why is there no options about the translation bar in the chrome settings !

It sounds very bizarre !! I mean, come on, A LOT of people speak more than ONE language !!
So they don't need that the translation bar appears every time !!! ... sometime why not ... when you need it, why not !!.... but every time !! come on !!!

Before, it was great: the translation bar was a extension. And there was a special button for that. Easy ! Perfect !!
Now, Chrome forces us to use it !!!
Very strange !!!

I hope you will REALLY & quickly correct that !!!
Thank's !!

i like the language bar, but then i only read english. i can see Tistou point here. For some reason the chrome developers are against giving the user too many options in the preferences.
i have other issues, such as not being able to control the headers and footers when printing, and not being able to permanently add SSL error exceptions.
I expect this is mostly because the GUI team dont want to bloat the preferences. However they need to realise not all users are the same, and we need options to customise it to suit each persons needs. All business users need the ability to print packing labels and other documents without the URL and date in the header, until we get this option Chrome is only good for home users. It is a good browser for home users mind, so well done there, but i would love to be able to use it at work too.

Tistou: I believe the popup has a setting "Do not show translations for documents in this language". Just click that for english and german, and you should be all set.
