Thanks desperately needed this. Khan Academy's scratch pad doesn't lock up the page anymore. I can also run more than 3 extensions now. Great regression fix. I really don't know why you're having multitouch scrolling issues though.

Why still no MathML support?
Why still no MathML support? Much smaller players have long included support for MathML. This is part of the HTML 5 standard. Given Google dominance it is unforgivable that it fails to support functionality that benefits the global community and has the capability to advance civilization. This omission is baffiling.

@Arthur: will you now every time there is an update complain about missing MathML support? Do you think you will speed things up this way?

But just to stop you complaining/wining:
it is already in webkit trunk - so at one point in will show up in Chrome... Using Google helps to find these kind of information...

You betcha! This has been the bane of Chrome x.y since 1.0. It isn't just "certain" sites; it's in fact major sites like or, etc., etc.

Suggestion for Google management: withhold any Chrome team bonuses until the Chrome browser can reliably load pages -- you know, something a browser is supposed to do.

I can't believe any tech company that makes computer browsers would allow a version of their browser to be released that wouldn't allow it's users to scroll up! Oh but wait Google just did!

What happened to the upward scrolling??

For one day I managed to get rid of the following errors:
Error 105 (net::ERR_NAME_NOT_RESOLVED)

but now they're back. I didn't have these kind of problems before 9.0.597.0 and now it seems they're here to stay. It doesn't matter what version I install, they still exist. It wouldn't bug me that much if this happened rarely but this happens all the time and getting to some sites seems to be an impossible task. Did Chrome mess up with some connection settings or what is this about?
